ELPA CHANT
We know how to take a test,
We know how to do our best.
Listen carefully, then do,
What the directions tell you to.
Do not hurry, do not rush,
Do not speak in a low hush.
Say your answers right out loud,
You are smart and you are proud!
Read the stories, read the lines,
Remember always take your time.
Take the time to think and plan
Tell yourself, “Yes I can!”
I will show what I can do,
I will show it all to you.
ELPA is the test we take,
5’s the score we want to make.
We know English, yes we do!
And we want to prove it, too!
We will do our very best!
We’ll score high on the ELPA test!
